Velvet Wine Box

In this selection we grouped 3 gems from Meroni winery. The Meroni winery is located in one of the five municipalities of the Valpolicella Classica area, specifically in the municipality of Sant'Ambrogio, approximately 18 km from the splendid city of Verona. This is the Valpolicella region, home to the renowned Amarone. From their love for the land and its fruits, the winemakers and cellarmen create "Il Velluto. Why this name? «Il Velluto» is how the Veronese poet Berto Barbarani described the wine while writing a letter to thank the winemaker Meroni in 1943: for the «velvet wine» and the warmth sensation while drinking it (il velluto = velvet). A unique occasion to taste all the 3 variations in one curated and selected box.
