In Mottola - a town and comune in the province of Taranto and region of Apulia in southeast Italy - we are in the middle, even territorially speaking, between the strength and complexity of Manduria and the more slender elegance of Gioia del Colle. Made from organically grown Primitivo grapes, this red wine aged in stainless steel tanks expresses all of the grape’s varietal notes: intense ruby red, ripe red fruit bouquet, soft taste. It is full-bodied and with a long finish, ideal to pair with beef, pasta with robust meat sauces, and eggplant parmigiana.
