Col di Corte, Marche, Verdicchio, Naturwein
A winery, not a company. Wine, not a product.
Col Di Corte is in Montecarotto in the province of Ancona in the DOC of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, looking at the Adriatic sea.
The farm has twelve hectares of property of which about 4 of Verdicchio, 2 of Lacrima di Morro d'Alba, 3 of Montepunciano, 2 of Sangiovese and 1 of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Col Di Corte produces wine with the intention of offering a resource (not a product) that is healthy, pleasant and with high levels of drinkability. Strong believer that their knowledge and tradition can offer something unique. Giacomo Rossi prefers confronting himself with nature rather than with the discoveries in agricultural and enological technology, and for this reason the symbols of the seasons are the distinguishing hallmark; a hallmark that according to the trend of our previous seasons’ harvest, is put on the labels of all the wines.
Passionate about natural wine, dedicated to quality production and focused on giving back to the land, they have been working both in the vineyard and in the winery following biological/organic farming since 2012. Since 2016 Col Di Corte has also begun to use Biodynamic preparations.
